The Cubbi Buddi Corduroy covers are made from heavy commercial upholstery rated at a whopping 100,000 rubs- this means it will be super long wearing and durable, prepared for heavy daily use and everything the kids can throw at it, not to mention all while looking beautiful in your home.
You’ll find that your Cubbi Buddi will only need a spot clean for most messes as one of the amazing features of the fabric we’ve chosen is that its naturally stain resistant! To keep your Cubbi Buddi in tip top shape feel free to vacuum weekly (if you can get the kids off it).
Our fabric covers have undergone extensive commercial testing to make sure that they can be gently machine washed on a cold cycle without any shrinkage. So if you want to do a deeper clean, simply zip off the covers, pop it on a cold gentle machine wash on its own and line dry in the shade. We recommend washing all covers together, leaving the covers zipped up during washing and to use a washing agent that does not contain optical brighteners and suitable for colour retention such as Earth Choice (3 X Ultra concentrate liquid), Eco Store Laundry Powder or Omo Colour.

We bought this for our daughters first birthday a month ago and it has already had a tonne of use! She LOVES it!! She’s a climber so we push it against the couch so she can play safely. We also help her make cubby houses and she hides with her teddies. It’s surprisingly light for its size, the handles make it super easy to move, the quality is 10/10 and the colour is divine! It stacks neatly in our small space at the end of the day. I have no doubts this will last for a very long time and I can’t wait to watch all the things she can do with it as she grows. It’s everything we could have wanted…and more because we can even add to it later!

We purchased a Cubbi Buddi for our early childhood community space.
We have families with children from birth upwards enjoying our space and knew we needed something that could grow with them.
The Cubbi Buddi is perfect for this! A soft mat for babies to lie on and practise tummy time and the arm rests are perfect for practising crawling skills. It becomes a safe space for crawlers to climb and begin to pull to stand and then the becomes a beautiful open ended play item for older children – cubbies, sheds, rockets have all been built in playgroup.
We’ve loved seeing the Cubbi Buddi as something that fosters collaborative play in parents and children alike, and has allowed for beautiful child-carer interactions.
The vinyl covering material allows for easy cleaning and flexibility with indoor and outdoor play alike.
We adore that there is no bulky equipment to find storage for as the Cubbi Buddi packs away into a couch and becomes part of our furniture – and a lovely little nook for reading stories, or quiet time.

We love our cubbi buddi! After doing lots of research into the different play lounges on the market, I decided on the cubbi buddi and am so happy with my choice! We use it multiple times each day for my 2 year old.
Highlights:
– The handles make it so easy to move the pieces around
– The build ideas poster gives my toddler control and choice so she can choose a build and we then make it together. It has also helped with her imaginative play which has been really fun.
– The fabric is such great quality and I’ve already been able to get a number of spills off with just a baby wipe.
– The foam is so strong, it never bends during any of the builds.
– Great for all ages. We had friends over who have children between the ages of 3 and 7, and they all loved the cubbi buddi and all played with it together for at least 45 minutes!

I did a lot of research into play couches and Cubbi Buddi stood out to me the most, mainly as OT’s invented it and how high quality Australian made the product is. Our Galaxy Navy Cubbi buddi is the best buddi. I can’t work out who loves it more, my husband or my 1 year old.
I originally purchased it to save my poor lounge chair from being the play equitment. It has definitely worked but it also has
so many other benefits for open ended play, problem solving and physical development.
The material is luxurious and the handles make it so functional.
