The Cubbi Buddi fabric covers are made from heavy commercial upholstery – this means it will be super long wearing and durable, prepared for heavy daily use and everything the kids can throw at it, not to mention all while looking beautiful in your home.
You’ll find that your Cubbi Buddi will only need a spot clean for most messes as one of the amazing features of the fabric we’ve chosen is that its naturally stain resistant! To keep your Cubbi Buddi in tip top shape feel free to vacuum weekly (if you can get the kids off it).
Our fabric covers have undergone extensive commercial testing to make sure that they can be gently machine washed on a cold cycle without any shrinkage. So if you want to do a deeper clean, simply zip off the covers, pop it on a cold gentle machine wash on its own and line dry in the shade. We recommend washing all covers together, leaving the covers zipped up during washing and to use a washing agent that does not contain optical brighteners and suitable for colour retention such as Earth Choice (3 X Ultra concentrate liquid), Eco Store Laundry Powder or Omo Colour.
The Cubbi Buddi vinyl covers are also rated at a whopping 150,000 rubs! This is how many rubs back and forth it takes until the material wears down or splits.

Our family is so pleased with our Cubbi Buddi! I agonised over the choice between Cubbi Buddi and another popular brand and am so pleased that we settled on this one. The CB is slightly less deep than popular competitors and I feel this is an advantage as it fits our space better and is easier for the kids to handle. The fabric and foam feels is super tough and high quality and colour choices are beautiful- our play couch is a beautiful feature in our family room.
Our Cubbi Buddi gets a work out every night for pre-bed roughousing, and our family’s favourite builds are a ‘farm’ (the bases as a fence) and a ‘garbage truck’.
Amy and Tara are so professional and responsive. They were all too happy to help me with some enquiries and even searched their warehouse to find the last of a discontinued colour. I’m so pleased to support two health professionals too- play experts!

Amazing quality product and excellent customer service 👌 I have a very active and confident one year old who loves climbing and jumping on his cubbi buddi, but also loves using it as a quiet reading nook.

With the cubbi buddi, we have reclaimed our own couch – no more cushions on the floor or little feet jumping and climbing on it..
CubbiBuddi is so versatile for our kids to be imaginative and creative, be crazy, energetic or calm and quiet.
We have ages 6, 4 and 1 and it’s so suitable for all three.
Also very quick and easy to pack away and it makes the space look so lovely – almost like kids haven’t taken over the house.
I expect this purchase to last a long time with a lot of use which also makes it worth it the money. The perfect combined gift !

We were happy to pay a little more to ensure we were getting the highest of quality and knowing it was Australian made gave us peace of mind. You cannot even begin to explain the versatility of this play couch. The kids use it multiple times a day. I love how it encourages creativity and the “end of the day” energy burn. We love our cubbi buddi, this by far was the best Xmas present! My three kids 6, 4 and 10mths old are obsessed with their cubbi buddi. They play with theirs daily and have enjoyed making and creating. I’ve upload a video of them relaxing in there cubbi buddi chairs. We can’t wait to purchase the add on’s.
