The Cubbi Buddi Corduroy covers are made from heavy commercial upholstery rated at a whopping 100,000 rubs- this means it will be super long wearing and durable, prepared for heavy daily use and everything the kids can throw at it, not to mention all while looking beautiful in your home.
You’ll find that your Cubbi Buddi will only need a spot clean for most messes as one of the amazing features of the fabric we’ve chosen is that its naturally stain resistant! To keep your Cubbi Buddi in tip top shape feel free to vacuum weekly (if you can get the kids off it).
Our fabric covers have undergone extensive commercial testing to make sure that they can be gently machine washed on a cold cycle without any shrinkage. So if you want to do a deeper clean, simply zip off the covers, pop it on a cold gentle machine wash on its own and line dry in the shade. We recommend washing all covers together, leaving the covers zipped up during washing and to use a washing agent that does not contain optical brighteners and suitable for colour retention such as Earth Choice (3 X Ultra concentrate liquid), Eco Store Laundry Powder or Omo Colour.

All spills on the Cubbi Buddi vinyl cover can be easily wiped off with a simple cloth. If using heavier duty cleaning products is your jam, then our fabric is strong enough to handle it so don’t worry. Please note however, that silicone based cleaners should not be used.

We took the plunge & got a cubbi buddi after much thought. Absolutely zero regrets, except we did not get it sooner. Our home is not big, but the cubbi buddy is a welcome addition. We spit it up at times & have an armchair in each of the kids rooms. We have a very active 3 year old & 20 month old. They both use the cubbi buddi & cloud every day! The could is a favourite for jumping into off the cubbi buddi of course, reading books, hiding under & our dog uses it as a bed! The kids make obstacle courses, houses, forts & tunnels. Hours of safe endless play.
The quality is amazing & it’s really comfortable. We have used the bases as beds when cousins come to stay.
Customer service is second to none, honesty Tara & Amy are wonderfully helpful. I am glad we could support this small Australian business. We hope to get some spots in the future!

I can not recommend this enough!!! Both me and my son absolutely love this.
My son is 14 months old, we got this about 2 months ago and it has been used every single day. The quality is amazing. You can do sooo much with it.
The handles are just the best thing ever. I’m a 26 year old women and I could not imagine not having the handles. I don’t know how toddlers move their couches around without handles.
For me customer service is as important as the product itself. In the past I’ve had really bad experience with customer service from small businesses (have been sent broken stuff and they ignored me), it took me ages to message them about the zipper being broken, I was 99% sure I’d be ignored but they replied straight away and sent me a new one.
I’m definitely going to get more stuff in the future from cubbi buddi. Love love love!!

This is one purchase that I debated for so long, knowing it was a decent amount of money coming off the back of maternity leave with out 3rd boy. I did my research with lots of other brands and settled on Cubbi Buddi and bit the bullet and we are SO HAPPY we did! It lives in our playroom and the boys loved it so much they had a sleepover in the playroom the first night (and slept like a dream 😉). Since we have used it in the loungeroom for movies nights, in their room as an extra bed for a sleepover, as a ramp/slide, cubby, shop, car, tractor, robot, a soft base for our many daily wrestles and stacks on…the list goes on. We love the handles making it easier to move between rooms in our house and easier for our 6 and 3yo to manoeuvre themselves. Our 12mo absolutely adores it and lights up with the biggest smile once climbing on top and feels like one of the big kids. It is such a versatile piece it has us wishing we had ordered it sooner! We can’t wait to add some add ons – with 3 boys the rough and tumble and physical play is needed for all our sanity. For those sitting on the fence – it is an investment you will not regret, don’t over think it and ENJOY!!

We absolutely love our cubbi buddi! We use it everyday and it has not only be a saviour to my sanity but also our couches!
The quality is next level, the fabric is so thick and easy to clean, we often take ours outside and if it gets a little dirty I can just wipe over with a damp cloth and if needed the covers come of easily for a simple wash.
My son loves looking through all the build ideas and we make multiple a day but his favourite build is the stairs as he likes to jump off them 😂
I was worried it might not get used enough for the cost but it is so so worth it!
